The Modules tab may be selected from the Display dialog box when you select the Display command from the Options menu (Alt + O, D). To select the Modules tab, move the pointing device to the tab and click, or press the Tab key until the Style tab is highlighted, then use the Arrow keys to move to the Modules tab.
This tab lets you customize how the battery charge information will be displayed in the MaxTime window. If you select multiple options, they will be vertically stacked one on top of the other. If no options are selected, the Bargraph is displayed by default.
The Modules tab contains the following module options:
Bargraph The Bargraph shows the total remaining battery charge using
a horizontal bar. A Green bar indicates the charge is in an acceptable
range. A Yellow bar indicates a low battery charge. A Red bar indicates
a critically low battery charge. These ranges are determined by the thresholds
you set for your low and critical battery alarm percent remaining thresholds.
The current battery charge is shown by the length of the bar as well as
by a pointer underneath the bargraph. If you have selected the Show All
Batteries Status check box, each remaining battery charge as the Bargraph
will be displayed with the total battery status.
Percent Remaining The percent total remaining charge on the battery
is displayed in a LED format (e.g., 75%). If you have selected the Show
All Batteries Status check box, each remaining battery charge as the Percent
Remaining will be displayed with the total battery status.
Time Remaining The time total remaining on the battery charge is displayed
in hours and minutes (e.g., 01:30 = 1 hour, 30 minutes left).
If no battery is currently inserted in the computer, MaxTime displays
N/A.
The Format options are available only if more than one module (except
a Time Remaining for each battery status) is selected. The options are:
Stack Modules The selected modules are stacked vertically in the MaxTime
Window.
Cycle Modules The selected modules are displayed one at a time in the
MaxTime Window, cycling through each of the selected modules. There are
two cycle methods: (1) You can choose to auto cycle through the selected
modules at a specified interval. (2) You can select to manually cycle through
the selected modules using the manual control button. Clicking this button
in the MaxTime Window allows you to either advance the modules faster than
the specified auto cycle interval or to simply advance to the next module
if the auto cycle is disabled.
